All together, I played in 18 tournaments last week, including the five single table satellites, and I only had three small cashes. I also played two quick sessions of NL Cash (-$206, 3.25 hrs). On Saturday afternoon, I played some $8/$16 Omaha-8 at the Venetian (-$86, 3.75 hrs).

Overall, a dreadful week of cards.

The highlight of the week was on Saturday night. There was a large number of players from Cleveland who invaded Las Vegas for the weekend. 22 of us went out to high-class steakhouse, and had a great meal. The total bill, including tax and tip, was over $3500. It was great to see everyone again.

The fellow CPMGers also tore it up while in Vegas. Two of them entered Sunday's $1000 WSOP Event. Both players cashed, and made Day 2. ProWest was super shortstacked entering Day 2, and finished in 138th place. Data never got the big stack, but hung around for most of Day 2, finishing in 35th place for a $10k score.

On Sunday, six or seven players entered the 2pm $235 Daily Deepstack at the Rio, which had 1473 players. Three of those players finished in the Top 100, with the best being Jen at 21st. Yesterday, ProWest played the 2pm $235 Daily Deepstack. He made in to the Final Table, finishing 7th out of 1360 players.

Congrats to everyone on their sweet scores, and thanks a lot for making me look bad.

The good news is that I'm not done yet. On Sunday, I'm making the 460 mile drive back down to Sin City, and doing it all again. The highlights will be a $340 Heads-Up tournament at Caesars on Monday, the $1500 Ante Only Event on Wednesday, and possibly the $240 PLO/PLH tourney at the Golden Nugget on Thursday. There will also be various Daily Donkaments, and I need to play some of those Daily Deepstacks, since I didn't get to play any last week.

Most of the Clevelanders will be gone, but a few will still be hanging around, along with a few more who are arriving next week. So even if the cards still suck, then I should still have a good time.
